WHY AM I RIDING IN THE 2009 RFSK -
The fifth annual Ride for Sick Kids has become a personal legacy by riding and organising this fund-raising event.

The biggest inspiration for me is when you see how generous the local
communities, McDonald’s Owner Operators and sponsors can be when you ask for support especially when you mention the name Ronald McDonald House, people recognise the brand and are more than happy to make some sort of donation.

On a personal basis I suffered from juvenile arthritis as a child and spent many months in and out of hospitals. I am happily married and luckily have a healthy ten year old daughter. The ride has created some very strong friendships and more importantly I have made mates for life.
